Jessa de la Morena
I have been an executive in multinational companies and a big 5 Consulting firm for more than 20 years, creating and leading large multidisciplinary teams, almost always in the technology sector. I have held positions of heavy accountability in many areas, including Business Development, Product Definition, Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Finance, Sales, Corporate Strategy, and finally Transformational Leadership. I graduated from the Stern School of Business at New York University, specializing in International Business and Finance. I am half American, half Spanish, having grown up between the two countries while travelling all over the world and with a very open and entrepreneurial mindset. I am the proud mother of 2 teenage daughters.
After having overcome great adversity on a personal level, I decided to take the leap and live the life of my dreams, which includes, among other things, creating 2 companies which I lead: both have the mission to change the world.
HOW I AM CHANGING THE WORLD…
Leading Creating the Unimaginable, an international consultancy firm that promotes transformation in every way in companies and their leaders, is one of my passions. Through our CREATE® methodology and exclusive tools, we help explore new possibilities, lead fearlessly, and create new realities. We have 40 consultants who are experts in their fields and together we create the unimaginable in a way that results in extraordinary employee experiences in the companies we collaborate with.
U Are The Hero is the global App I created to provide the support and inspiration that I would have needed in my greatest time of need. It empowers people in the process of facing adversity, bringing them closer to the health and wellness experts they need through the lens of the success stories of others. It also offers the possibility of subscribing to Routines based on the coaching methodology that offers people the possibility of working on their mental, emotional and spiritual health through introspection. This initiative promotes an inclusive global society, where we take responsibility for the well-being of others, wanting to share our knowledge and learning in order to help others.
Actively speaking at international events all over the world, covering such topics as mental health, overcoming adversity, cancer, transformational leadership, inclusion & diversity, entrepreneurship, and women in leadership, enables me to break stigmas and share with others what I would have liked to know during challenging moments. TLC Lions is an organization that I collaborate with, delivering speeches to large multinational firms.
Being a Board Member of the World Happiness Foundation and Chairing two Commissions, the Transformational Leadership Commission and the World Empowerment and Wellness Commission, aligns my actions with an organization that shares my purpose: to create a world with freedom, consciousness, and happiness, FOR ALL.
Personal and professional transformation fascinates me, and providing coaching in both group and individual settings allows me to facilitate others to achieve their hearts´ desire.
Teaching at the Instituto de Empresa´s International MBA program gives me the opportunity to impact the future leadership of companies all over the world. The current course I provide is in the Human Resources & Leadership Skills area, called “Creating the Unimaginable: Aligning Purpose, Performance, and People Leadership. It is focused on helping students master the skills required to create the unimaginable. We discuss what it takes to build game-changing companies that make teams highly engaged and areas of responsibility world-class talent factories. We also cover how to build a Collective Ambition and establish an action plan on how to implement these concepts. And lastly, we work through how to execute strategy in an efficient and agile way, embracing diversity and disagreement, resulting in outstanding performance.
Giving back to the female community is important to me, especially being the mother of two young amazing daughters, and am involved in Inspiring Girls, an organisation dedicated to raising the aspirations of young girls around the world by connecting them with female role models and introducing them to the full variety of careers and options in life – and inspire them to aim high.
I want to BE the change and am working towards certification of all of my companies as B Corporations, and I am getting credentialed in the B Movement Builders program to support and mentor other companies to do so as well.
